Please be aware that the timing of this message may vary depending on cell coverage.  We will work hard to get this information sent as soon as we can. We normally give an estimate arrival time before departure on the permission slip, so please go by that time unless you hear otherwise by email or by phone call from your scout on the return trip.

Service Opportunity: Conservation Service Hours

As discussed at our meeting on Monday, there is an opportunity for service at the Allatoona Aquatics base.  As you know, our troop makes extensive use of this base and it is appropriate that we help out.  Furthermore, this work will include conservation type service which people working on Life need.  It is this Saturday.  If interested look at info below and contact Mr. Gulledge.

Scouting for Food

This Sunday we have the Scouting for Food Drive at RUMC.    


Uniform.................: Class A

Time......................: 9am to 12pm   Meet at Scouthut until 9:15, after that the Scouts will be collecting Food by the entrances to the Church.

In case you are new to scouting, Friends of Scouting is the annual BSA fundraising campaign to ensure that others share the same experiences that are provided to your scouts.
